Delaware Boots on the Ground Supporting Our Military and Their Families

On June 11^th, Governor Ruth Ann Minner formally proclaimed July 4^th, 2008 to be “Boots on the Ground Supports DE Military and Their Family Day.” I was proud to be invited to attend the proclamation signing and meet the women responsible for Delaware Boots on the Ground.

Delaware Boots on the Ground is a volunteer, non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting America’s military and their families at home and abroad. DEBOTG offers support through respite programs, referral services, and emergency financial help.

I can only wish that such a wonderful program was around when I was serving in the United States Air Force. DEBOTG is truly an asset to Delaware.
